Ok. Enough Jungle now. Let´s go under the people. There where the night is living... to Cartagena. Cartagena is in the north of colombia. There we were renting an apartment.

and packed out our things. Cartagena is a really nice city, and it has very nice buildings including the buildings in the old town:

We weren´t waiting were long. We went to the "Playa Blanca".. in english: THE WHITE BEACH was fascinating.. so we went there by a boat:

left: The colombian harbor-controll is checking every boat which is coming in and out...

Absolutely a dream.. a very nice white beach.. chilling guarantee!


After I got a massage for about 80 Cents from a "profesional worker", and we have eaten fresh fish on the beach, and talking with colombian children who wanted to sell shells... We started going back to the city.

Well you won´t find that often sharks there.. but they exist!

Also the first time in my life that I have seen pelicans!

Well, in the night we decided entering to the Hilton Hotel. How? Just do like you are an important customer, and just enter like you already have a routing and you get in very easily!


Well.. so we were already making a "Hotel-Cruising", so we decided to visit another Hotel: "Santa Clara". Also a very very nice Hotel, but a totaly other stil than the Hilton Hotel, maybe a little bit nicer.

By the way.. this is the church were MONTOYA got married ("Yes I WAS THERE!")

Sleeping situation: Women in a doble bed in an extra room. Men all together in one room at the floor!

For the end: A very cool Bus. I thought the busses in Bogotá are already very cool, but in Cartagena they are blinking more, and play music louder then normal ;)
